ABOUT
Camelot Agroecology Farm was established 2016 and registered as a business in Uganda, by registrar of Businesses in November 2021. Its a research-oriented urban farm currently having 5 fulltime staff located in Naluvule along Hoima Road, Wakiso District Uganda. The farm started as a poultry farm dealing in layer birds for eggs but has grown into a research and experimentation centre with regard to renewable energy and agroecology. Manure was our biggest challenge on the farm and through research we have been able to explore its treasure and turned the challenge into opportunities that have turned this waste into value. We have been able to produce environmentally friendly products such as Portable Biogas digesters and Biomass Briquettes which are very instrumental in preserving the environment. We also process manure into low cost organic fertiliser.

We champion the use of renewable energy technologies such as Biomass briquettes and Biogas. These are instrumental in climate change mitigation by reducing deforestation due to availability of clean energy alternatives.

ENVIRONMENT

Our activities protect the environment through climate change mitigation by providing superior fuel alternatives such as briquettes to charcoal, and protecting biodiversity through production of organic fertiliser. We turn would be pollutant waste into value thereby reducing GHG emissions.
